His book is a one volume biography of Franklin Delano Roosevelt's life. It is a good read, and covers all of FDR's life, from birth to death. For those who have multiple books on FDR, there isn't anything new here, but it is still an enjoyable, and interesting by: The best part of Brands's book is his vivid account of FDR's early life and pre-presidential career.
